Vikas Kumar

Vikas Kumar is currently serving as an Institute Fellow at IISER Bhopal since August 2023 while pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Earth and Environmental Science. Prior experience includes a role as a Project Fellow at the Haryana State Pollution Control Board from February 2023 to August 2023, where responsibilities involved geo-mapping of pollution across various land uses in Haryana. Vikas began the professional journey as a Student Intern at the Haryana Space Applications Centre from February 2022 to September 2022. Academically, Vikas holds an M.Tech. in Geoinformatics from the Haryana Space Applications Centre and has completed additional studies in geospatial inputs and remote sensing, including a Master of Science in Geography from the Central University of Haryana and a Bachelor of Science in Geology, Geography, and Chemistry from J.V. Jain College.
