Christina Davis

Christina Davis has extensive work experience in the field of education. Christina started their career at Substitute Teacher Service, Inc. in June 2012, where they worked as a Substitute Teacher until October 2012. Christina then joined Upper Darby School District as an RTII Teacher from October 2012 to May 2013. In July 2013, they began working at American Institutes for Research as a Test Development Assistant, where they contributed to various tasks such as conducting item reviews, proofreading test materials, and assisting in the development of review criteria. Christina then progressed to the role of Test Development Associate from April 2016 to September 2018, and subsequently became a Research Associate from September 2018 to April 2020. Christina'sresponsibilities in these roles included leading the review and preparation of materials for the NAEP assessment, serving as a lead reviewer for NAEP-related submissions and overseeing the translation of Spanish items and content. Since April 2020, they have served as a Researcher and Deputy Project Director for NAEP Assessment Operations at the same organization, where they are responsible for leading various NAEP development activities, attending regional meetings, and preparing documents and presentations.

Christina Davis holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from the Honors College at West Chester University, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Christina then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education Policy Studies at The George Washington University, which they completed in 2016. Continuing their education, Christina is currently pursuing an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at The George Washington University, expected to be completed by 2023.

To enhance their professional skills, Christina has obtained several certifications. Christina received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2023. In May 2023, they obtained the certification for Developing Organizational Awareness from LinkedIn. Additionally, in October 2022, Christina received the WWC Reviewer Certification - Group Design Standards v4.1 from the Institute of Education Sciences. In July 2022, they obtained the certifications for Increase Visibility to Advance Your Career, and Project Management Foundations: Risk from LinkedIn. Prior to that, they acquired certifications in Coaching and Developing Employees, Coaching for Results, and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn in December 2021. In August 2019, they received the certification for Project Management Foundations: Budgets from LinkedIn.

Christina also possesses a Pennsylvania Elementary Teaching Certificate (Grades K-6).
