Quantitative Research Associate, Workforce at American Institutes for Research

Elizabeth Middleton has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being a Quantitative Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the New Mexico Workforce Connection in various roles, including Interim Operations Manager/One-Stop Operator and Senior Policy Analyst from August 2022 to February 2023. Elizabeth also had a brief experience as a Graduate Intern at the Data Quality Campaign in June and July 2020.

Before that, Elizabeth had roles at the University of Maryland, where they were a Quantitative Research Assistant at the Stamp Student Union from September 2019 to June 2020. Elizabeth was also a Graduate Coordinator for Local Community Service-Learning (Terps for Change) from July 2018 to June 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Research Analyst in Higher Education Policy at the Bipartisan Policy Center from November 2018 to October 2019.

Elizabeth also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy from May 2019 to August 2019. Additionally, they have a background in college advising and counseling, having worked as a College Success Advisor at The SEED Foundation from June 2016 to July 2018, and as a College Adviser and Data and Policy Fellow at the College Advising Corps from July 2014 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, they held positions as a Food Hub Intern at the Lancaster County Council of Churches from September 2013 to May 2014, and as a Research Intern at the Rodale Institute from June 2013 to August 2013.

Elizabeth Middleton completed their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies at Franklin & Marshall College from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they also participated in a program called The School for Field Studies, where they studied Sustainable Development Studies for a short period of time. Later, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy with a focus on Social and Education Policy at the University of Maryland.
