Emily Baumann

Emily Baumann has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Emily started their career as an Administrative Assistant and Marketing Research Intern at Lavidge & Associates, Inc in 2005. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Student/Graduate Assistant at Clemson University. Emily then joined the American Institutes for Research in 2008 as a Research Assistant, where they conducted various evaluations and validations of programs and materials. During their time at AIR, they also served as a Research Associate, conducting job analyses and training needs analyses. In 2016, Emily became self-employed as a Research Consultant, focusing on monitoring and providing feedback on school practices, coding research studies, and creating resource libraries. In 2018, they returned to the American Institutes for Research as a Researcher, where they worked on projects related to automation, literacy approaches, and program accreditation.

Emily Baumann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the College of Charleston, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. Emily then pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Sociology from the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University, completing their studies from 2006 to 2009.
