Emily Pas Isenberg is a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research since February 2017. Prior to that, they worked at the U.S. Census Bureau, LEHD Program as a Senior Researcher from May 2015 to September 2016 and as an Economist from November 2014 to May 2016. In their role at the Census Bureau, they developed methodology and SAS code for seasonal adjustment of workforce indicators and analyzed employment and earnings outcomes for TANF recipients. Emily also worked as a Stay at Home Mom at the Isenberg Household from August 2013 to November 2014. Emily Pas previously worked as an Economist at the U.S. Census Bureau, LEHD Program from May 2009 to August 2013 and as an Economist through Abt Associates Inc. from July 2007 to May 2009. Before that, they were an Instructor of Economics at Syracuse University in June and July 2005. Emily started their career as a Research Assistant at Mathematica Policy Research from July 1998 to May 2001.

Emily Pas Isenberg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Williams College, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Emily Pas went on to pursue further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from Syracuse University between the years 2001 and 2007.
