Research Assistant- Youth, Family And Community Development at American Institutes for Research

Henry Alexander has a diverse work experience. Henry started as an Intern at Breaking Ground in October 2017, followed by working as a Trail Counselor at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan from June 2017 to August 2019. In December 2018, they worked as a Cultural Sustainability Extern at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. From August 2018 to March 2020, they worked as a Student Wellness Advocate at the Office of Health Promotion, Carleton College. Later, from July 2020 to August 2021, they served as a Research and Practice Communications VISTA at the Search Institute. Currently, they are working as a Research Assistant in the Youth, Family, and Community Development division at the American Institutes for Research.

Henry Alexander received their high school diploma from Mounds View Senior High School in the year 2016. Afterwards, they enrolled at Carleton College from 2016 to 2020, earning their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology with a minor in Africana Studies. In 2015, they also attended Conserve School. In terms of additional certifications, Henry obtained their Lifeguard/CPR certification from the American Red Cross in December 2017. Henry also obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification, although the specific month and year are not provided.
