Jennell McHugh

Jennell McHugh's work experience spans various roles and organizations. Jennell started their career in 2007 as a Certified SAT Instructor/Private Tutor at The Princeton Review, where they delivered test-taking skills and educational content. Jennell also worked as a Director of Administrative Operations at HealthEx from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they joined American Institutes for Research as a Federal Statistics Program Interim Project Research Associate, where they performed various assignments related to survey delivery and data analysis. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Education Statistics Services Institute Network (ESSIN) Mid-Level Analyst at NucoreVision, Inc. Finally, they returned to American Institutes for Research in 2014 and held roles as a Research Associate and later as a Research Analyst.

Jennell McHugh has a Master of Arts degree in Sociology and Educational Policy from Columbia University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University, where they studied History, English, and Italian. In terms of additional certifications, Jennell McHugh completed Basic Tutor Training at the Mayor's Commission on Literacy in January 2016. Jennell also achieved intermediate fluency in Italian through the Duolingo language learning platform during the same month and year. In November 2014, they obtained certification as a Certified Pre-K CLASS Observer from Teachstone.
