La'Treil Allen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. In 2019, they served as a Pre-College Proctor at Harvard Summer School, where they were responsible for residential staff duties, program development, and student mentorship. La’Treil also worked as a Senior Peer Advisor at Cornell University from 2019 to 2022, providing support to students in navigating off-campus living and resolving landlord disputes. In 2020, La'Treil interned at DreamWakers, where they contributed to various projects including fundraising campaigns and facilitating virtual chats between students and professionals. Currently, they are a Research Assistant at the American Institutes for Research, assisting with research and technical support for the Youth, Family, and Community Development program area.

La’Treil Allen completed their high school education at Providence St. Mel School, receiving a high school diploma in the year 2018. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Government at Cornell University from 2018 to 2022.
