Martyna Citkowicz has a range of work experience in the field of research and statistics. Martyna started their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCSC Cognitive Psychology Department, where they performed simulation studies on meta-analysis models and presented their work at various conferences. Martyna also worked as a Teaching Assistant, leading discussion sections and grading assignments.

After that, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Merced Psychological Sciences, where they conducted simulation studies on meta-analysis models and developed methods for analyzing summary data. Martyna also worked as a Teaching Assistant, assisting in teaching and grading assignments.

Martyna then joined the Institute for Policy Research, Northwestern University as an IES Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. Here, they worked on projects related to standardized mean difference effect sizes, clustering in meta-analysis, and improving the generalizability of non-randomly sampled data.

Currently, they are a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research. Their responsibilities include leading statistical analyses, study design and analysis, data management, and reporting of quantitative results. Martyna also develops and assesses statistical models.

Martyna Citkowicz obtained a B.A. degree in Intensive Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in the years 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued an M.A. degree in Social and Cognitive Sciences (Quantitative Psychology track) at the University of California, Merced from 2008 to 2010. In the years 2008 to 2012, Martyna completed a Ph.D. in Psychological Sciences (Quantitative Psychology track) at the same institution.
