Sarah Mae Olivar, MSW, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of research and education. From 2007 to the present, they have worked at the American Institutes for Research as a Researcher. In this role, they have been responsible for planning, implementing, and managing curriculum audits, needs assessments, and program evaluations at various levels. Sarah Mae has conducted research sampling processes, collected data through various methods, and analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data. Additionally, they have served as a support and liaison to schools and districts and has managed and monitored the activities of research team members.

Since 2018, Sarah has also worked at Fordham Graduate School of Education as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant.

Sarah Mae Olivar holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Sarah Mae also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Contemporary Learning And Interdisciplinary Research from Fordham University. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained certifications such as the AIR Employees - General certification from the CITI Program, a CLASS certification from Teachstone, as well as certifications in Early Language and Literacy Classroom Observation (ELLCO) and SEL PQA from Education Development Center, Inc. and Center for Youth Program Quality, respectively.
