Quantitative Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Robert Schwarzhaupt has a strong background in research, with experience in quantitative analysis and project management. Robert worked as a Quantitative Researcher at the American Institutes for Research, where they served as Principal Investigator for an impact evaluation of computer science teacher professional development grants and conducted quantitative analyses for the Exploring Computer Science project. Prior to that, they were a Quantitative Research Associate at the same organization, conducting descriptive and correlation analyses on teacher survey data for a grant focused on student social and emotional skill development. Robert also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Chicago, where they designed and conducted an observational study for their master's thesis on the relationship between implicit gender-math stereotypes, math anxiety, and parental behaviors during math-centered interactions. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Senior Research Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Michigan Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, and held various roles at the University of Michigan, including Programming Lead, LGBT Issues Commission Central Student Government Executive Chair, Economic Development Research Fellow, and Research Assistant.

Robert Schwarzhaupt received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Theory and Practice from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Mundelein Consolidated High School from 2008 to 2012. Robert furthered their education and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Chicago, completing their studies in 2017.
