Senior Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Roman Ruiz has a diverse work experience in the field of education and research. Roman started their career as a College Access Counselor and later became an Academic Advisor at the University of Arkansas, where they worked from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they joined the Penn Alliance for Higher Education and Democracy as a Graduate Research Fellow, a position they held until 2018. Roman then worked as a Research Intern at the Council for Opportunity in Education in 2015 and as a Policy Research Intern at the U.S. Department of Education in 2016.
