Sara Sharick

Sara Sharick has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sara currently works as a Data Science Associate at the American Institutes for Research since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Writer at The Tuba Group from February 2019 to April 2022. In 2016, they joined the 3300 Strategic Intelligence Group as a US Army Reservist, where they served until April 2021. Before that, they were an Intelligence Analyst at The Buffalo Group from April 2016 to February 2018. Sara also has military experience, having served in the US Army from 2006 to 2015. Their roles in the army included Artillery Battalion Intelligence Officer from October 2014 to December 2015 and U.S. Army Recruiting Company Commander from May 2012 to September 2014. Sara started their army career as an Aviation Brigade Assistant Intelligence Officer from March 2009 to August 2010 and subsequently held the positions of Tactical UAS Platoon Leader from June 2007 to August 2008 and Brigade Tactical Intelligence Officer from January 2006 to June 2007. Prior to their military service, Sara worked as an Editor for SUNY Brockport - The Stylus from August 2002 to May 2004.

Sara Sharick obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with a concentration in East Asia from SUNY Brockport. Sara then pursued a Master's Degree in National Security Policy Studies at Georgetown University. Currently, Sara is enrolled at Northcentral University, where they are working towards a Master of Science degree in Data Science.

In terms of certifications, Sara has obtained several credentials related to data science. Sara completed the "IBM Professional Certificate in Data Science" from edX and the "Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science" offered by Microsoft. Sara also completed various courses such as "Machine Learning Scientist with Python" from DataCamp, "Data Visualization with Python" from Pluralsight, and "Python for Data Science" from DataCamp. In addition to these, Sara has obtained certifications in areas such as data analysis, statistics, and database management.
