Aparna Sundaram

Aparna Sundaram is an experienced professional in data science and research, currently serving as the Associate Data Science Director at IQVIA since February 2020, with expertise in statistical programming and modeling. Prior to this role, Sundaram was a Data Science Fellow at NYC Data Science Academy, where work involved merging and analyzing data for health insurance companies and employing machine learning techniques for predictive modeling. As a Senior Research Scientist at Guttmacher Institute, Sundaram led significant research initiatives on health economics and reproductive health, and previously contributed as a Research Analyst at American Institutes for Research, supporting educational research projects. Sundaram holds a PhD in Demography and Population Studies from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics.
