Sonam Gupta

Sonam Gupta is an accomplished economist and executive with extensive experience in research and management. Currently serving as Managing Director at American Institutes for Research since January 2022, Sonam previously held the role of Managing Director at IMPAQ International from August 2013 until January 2022, where career progression included positions as Principal Associate, Senior Associate, and Research Associate. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Professor at the University of Florida from July 2009 to July 2013. Sonam Gupta holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Arizona, where additional studies earned a Master of Arts in Agricultural and Resource Economics and an earlier Master of Arts in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, supplemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Miranda House.
