Xi Cen (Cici)

Xi (Cici) Cen has extensive work experience in the field of health economics and research. Xi (Cici) is currently employed as a Health Economist at the American Institutes for Research since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine from April 2019 to August 2020.

Before joining Stanford, Xi Cen served as an Adjunct Policy Researcher and Summer Associate at the RAND Corporation from May 2017 to May 2019. Xi (Cici) contributed to various policy research projects during their time there.

In 2014, Xi Cen held two roles simultaneously. Xi (Cici) worked as a PhD Researcher at the University of Rochester, focusing on studying the impact of state policies on nursing home patient safety culture. In addition, they also interned at Amgen as a HE&OR Global Market Access Graduate Intern. At Amgen, they conducted independent research and cost-effectiveness analysis related to cancer treatments.

Prior to their doctoral and internship experiences, Xi Cen gained project management skills as a Neuroscience Service Line Project Manager Intern at UCSF Medical Center from November 2012 to April 2013. Xi (Cici) also interned as a Consulting Intern at Analysys International in February and March 2010.
