Yetkin Borlu

Yetkin Borlu has a diverse work experience in the field of sociology. From June 2014 to August 2016, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Lecturer at Penn State University, where they assisted in completing a USDA-funded project related to apple and wine-grape pruning practices. Yetkin'sresponsibilities included conducting interviews and focus groups, analyzing spatial statistics, and designing surveys. Yetkin also contributed to writing reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts. Prior to this, from August 2009 to May 2014, Yetkin worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Penn State University. In this role, they gained experience in various research and teaching activities. From June 2017 to February 2020, Yetkin served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Richmond, where they taught sociology. Yetkin also worked as a Visiting Lecturer from August 2016 to May 2017 at the same university. Currently, since February 2020, Yetkin is working as a Sociology Content Editor at the American Institutes for Research.

Yetkin Borlu pursued higher education in the field of social sciences. Yetkin earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and International Relations from Marmara University. Following this, they enrolled at Penn State University and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Rural Sociology. The duration of their doctoral studies stretched from 2009 to 2014.
