Yinan Zou

Yinan Zou has a diverse work experience in research, analysis, and coordination roles across different industries. In 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at the American Institutes for Research, where they supported qualitative and quantitative evaluations related to education policy implementation. They integrated data from multiple sources and conducted data quality checks and descriptive data analysis.

From 2016 to 2017, Yinan worked as a Financial Analyst at Kaiser Permanente, focusing on a project analyzing after-hour telephone visits. They conducted research on patient responses and collected and synthesized data from different departments.

In 2016, they completed a Data Analyst Internship at New Asian Leaders, where they conducted research and analytical projects on the living conditions of Asian Americans. They developed new processes in R and Excel Macro to synthesize data and analyzed Asian Americans' living conditions using SAS and SQL.

Prior to that, Yinan had an internship as a Marketing Coordinator at Noble Solution in 2016, where they managed internal communications strategies and built relationships with customers.

In 2014 and 2015, Yinan worked as a Statistical Analyst at China Construction Bank. In 2013, they were a Loan Approval Officer at the same bank, conducting field studies, collecting data, and generating reports. They also assisted in developing and validating Value at Risk (VaR) models and published an article on the financial difficulties of small and medium-sized enterprises.

In 2012, Yinan had a brief role as a Lobby Manager Assistant at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

Yinan Zou earned a Master of Science in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University, specializing in financial studies, from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, specializing in financial studies, from 2011 to 2015.
