Yuliya M. Cheban-Gore

I-o Psychology Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Yuliya M. Cheban-Gore, M.S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Yuliya M. is currently working as an I-O Psychology Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at The City University of New York from July 2019 to June 2023.

Yuliya also worked as an Associate Consultant at Siena Consulting from April 2019 to March 2023. In this role, they gained valuable consulting experience.

From January 2017 to August 2018, Yuliya worked as an Exam Analyst in the Public Safety Division of the City of Los Angeles, Personnel Department. Yuliya M.'sresponsibilities included creating selection examinations for the civilian LAPD using the Competency Modeling approach.

Yuliya's earlier experiences include working as a Graduate Research Assistant, Instructional Assistant, and Teaching Assistant at California State University-Long Beach from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they have worked as a Human Resources/Recruiting Assistant at Farfetch from March to October 2014, and as a Human Resources Assistant at Marshall Electronics from May to November 2013.

Yuliya M. Cheban-Gore, M.S. has a diverse educational background in psychology and industrial and organizational psychology. Yuliya M. is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, with an expected completion in 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Psychology from the same institution in 2022.

Yuliya also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Baruch College, which they completed in 2022. Before pursuing their master's degree, they earned a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the same university.

Yuliya began their educational journey at Santa Monica College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in General Science. Yuliya M. completed their high school education at Van Nuys High School, specializing in the Medical Magnet program.

In addition to their formal education, Yuliya has also obtained a Micro-Credential in Designing Student-Centered Courses from ACUE (Association of College and University Educators) in January 2022.
