John Nordell

John Nordell is a seasoned professional in the fields of photography and education, currently serving as a Certified Zentangle Drawing Teacher at Burnalong since February 2024. Nordell holds the position of Assistant Professor of Communication at American International College since September 2012, where responsibilities include developing curriculum and teaching courses in digital photography and photojournalism. With a diverse career spanning over three decades, Nordell has also contributed as a part-time instructor, adjunct faculty, and educator in various academic institutions while working as a contributing photojournalist for The Image Works and other notable publications. An accomplished photographer and artist, Nordell founded John Nordell Photography and has produced fine art and stock imagery for clients across different industries. Educational credentials include a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and a Master's degree in Arts Education from Fitchburg State University.
