Ignacio F. Cruz

Ignacio F. Cruz, Ph.D., is currently an Assistant Professor of Communication at Northwestern University, where previous roles included Mancosh Postdoctoral Fellow within the same institution. With a background in communication, technology, and workforce dynamics, Cruz has developed and led several impactful research projects, including studies on hiring algorithms, Intelligent Personal Assistants, and wearable technology for employee wellness. Prior experience includes positions as an Assistant Lecturer at USC Annenberg, a Project Designer at Keck Medicine of USC, and organizational research at The University of Texas at Austin. Cruz holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Southern California, as well as a Master's degree in Communication Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications. Additional international study includes a fellowship at Beijing Foreign Studies University.
