Country Director at American International Health Alliance

Kidest Hailu has extensive work experience in the field of international development and customer service. From 2007 onwards, Kidest served as the Country Director for the American International Health Alliance in Ethiopia. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all office functions, managing programs and finances, and representing the organization to various stakeholders.

Prior to this, Kidest worked for British Airways for over a decade. From 2003 to 2006, they served as a Regional Sales Executive, supporting the Director of Sales and Account Managers in establishing relationships and maximizing commercial opportunities. Before that, from 1995 to 2003, Kidest worked as a Customer Service Agent, managing and accommodating the travel needs of multi-national passengers. Kidest Hailu obtained an Associate's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Post University between 1987 and 1989. Kidest then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the same institution from 1989 to 1991. Furthermore, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Strayer University from 2002 to 2004.
