Susanne D.

Susanne D. has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources, starting in 2007 as an HR Consultant Engineering at ED Work GmbH & Co.KG. Susanne then worked at E.ON as the Head of Human Resources from February 2008 to October 2012. In 2012, they joined Germanischer Lloyd AG as an HR Business Partner, Maritime Solutions/ Global Sales. Susanne later moved to DNV GL, where they held multiple roles including HR Manager Maritime and Divisional HR Manager Maritime Advisory from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they acquired training from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Head of HR at Liberty Iron & Metal, Inc. and as a Senior Human Resources Business Consultant. Since August 2021, they have been working as the Human Resources Director US at American Iron & Metal (AIM).

Susanne D. earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/ Retail Management from the Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. During the same period, they also received training to become a retail saleswoman at Hagebaumarkt Rendsburg GmbH &Co. KG, focusing on Retail Management.

In addition to their formal education, Susanne has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In April 2022, they earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI. During the same month, they also completed a course called "The Key to Good Communication: Your Audience" on LinkedIn. In September 2022, Susanne obtained a certification called "A Bold New Approach to Goal Setting with Michael Bungay Stanier" through LinkedIn. Most recently, in March 2023, they completed a course on "Human Resources: Managing Employee Problems" on LinkedIn.
