Saba Soomekh

Saba Soomekh currently serves as the Director of Training and Education at the American Jewish Committee and as an Adjunct Professor at UCLA. Since October 2022, Saba has been involved in interreligious outreach, international diplomacy, and serves as a scholar in residence at AJC. Saba's academic contributions span various institutions, including positions as Associate Director of AJC-LA and the Alan D. Leve Center for Jewish Studies, alongside teaching roles at California State University, Northridge, Loyola Marymount University, and the Academy of Jewish Religion. Saba holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara, a Master's from Harvard Divinity School, and a Bachelor's from UC Berkeley.
