Avril Miller

Director Of Human Resources at American Kidney Fund

Avril Miller's work experience includes various roles at the American Kidney Fund. Avril started in 2001 as an Executive Assistant, providing administrative support to the Executive Director as well as the Human Resources department. From 2004 to 2011, they served as a Human Resources Assistant. In 2011, they became an Associate Director of Human Resources, a position they currently hold. As an Associate Director, they oversee the development and implementation of a human resources strategic plan, ensures legal compliance, and maintains relationships with vendors. In 2019, they also took on the role of Director of Human Resources, responsible for managing AKF's systems and organization-wide change.

Avril Miller attended the University of Hull from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a BA Honors degree in American Studies. In addition, they briefly attended the University of South Carolina in 1996. Earlier in their education, Avril studied at Fowey Comprehensive but did not complete a degree there.
