Reba Mathern-Jacobson has extensive experience in public policy and advocacy, currently serving as a Specialist at the American Lung Association since March 2016, where responsibilities include implementing policies for nicotine dependency treatment and promoting tobacco-free environments in mental health and substance abuse systems in Minnesota and North Dakota. Prior to this role, Reba was the State Program Director for March of Dimes, overseeing advocacy and management of programs supporting NICU families, among other duties. Reba has also coordinated community initiatives at Nativity Community Garden and engaged in various volunteer roles with organizations such as Prairie Roots Food Cooperative. Reba's educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Spanish from the College of Saint Benedict.
