Sean Lane

Sean Lane is an experienced boatbuilder and composite technician currently serving as the Sr. Boatbuilder for the American Magic America's Cup team since January 2023. Previous roles include composite technician at Moore Brothers Company and composite boat builder for the 36th America's Cup with American Magic. Sean has held various managerial positions, including Service Manager at Bristol Marine and Operations Manager at Symmetrix Composite Tooling, where responsibilities encompassed project management, shop oversight, vendor relations, and employee training. Additionally, Sean contributed to the build team for the Puma Volvo Race Boat at New England Boat Works and has extensive experience as a boat builder at Goetz Custom Boats. Sean's education includes training from The Landing School from 1990 to 1992.
