Don Howe is an experienced marine engineer currently serving as Chief Engineer at American Maritime Officers since July 2000, with a progression from 3rd Assistant Engineer. Don has extensive experience aboard various vessels, including RO/ROs, tankers, research vessels, cruise ships, heavy lift vessels, ATBs, ITBs, OSVs, and container ships, handling high, medium, and slow speed diesel and gas turbine plants. Previously, Don worked at Odysea Transportation from April 1998 to June 2000 as QMED/D.D.E unlimited, responsible for watch standing and the overall care of the propulsion plant. Additionally, Don gained experience at Trico Marine from August 1996 to April 1998 in multiple roles, including OS/AB special, wiper, and QMED.
