Katie Bennett

Katie Bennett, M.Ed., has a diverse work experience history that includes roles in higher education administration, career services, student engagement, and communication. Katie has held leadership positions in various organizations, such as the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, American Marketing Association, and Columbus College of Art & Design. Katie has a strong background in mentoring, curriculum development, event planning, and communications strategy.

Katie Bennett, M.Ed. (she/her), graduated from Steel Valley High School in 2010. Katie then earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Relations and English with concentrations in Literary Studies and Women and Gender Studies from Duquesne University in 2014. In 2019, they completed their Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher Education Management (HEM) with a Student Services Concentration from the University of Pittsburgh. Katie has also obtained additional certifications including the University of Pittsburgh Allies Network Training in 2022, and the University of Pittsburgh Racial Equity Consciousness Institute and Diversity & Inclusion Certificate in 2021.
