Russ Klein

CEO at American Marketing Association

Russ Klein is the current CEO at American Marketing Association. Russ has also previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Arby's Restaurant Group and the Global President of Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation at Burger King Corporation.

Klein is responsible for numerous high-water marks in new product productivity and performance, including the establishment of an open innovation system responsible for the original conception and development of the highly successful and record-setting Hot Turkey platform, the King's Hawaiian strategic alliance, and the breakthrough launch of the Smokehouse Brisket platform (the most successful new product in company history). Russ has also led the team that launched products constituting billions in annual sales, such as the Tendercrisp Chicken Sandwich, Angus Steakburger, Chicken Fries, Apple Fries, and Angry Whopper.

Klein's almost seven year tenure at the marketing helm for Burger King is unmatched. Russ has been recognized as the "Advertiser of the Decade" for 2000's by Adweek and the "Digital Advertisement of the Decade" by the Wall Street Journal. In addition, they have been awarded the Presidents Award for Distinguished Leadership on the RSI Supply Chain Board of Directors.

After receiving a B.S.B.A in marketing from The Ohio State University, Russ Klein went on to get their certification from Harvard Business School in the Advanced Management Program. Russ also attended the Second City Player's Workshop.
