Colleen Leeders is a seasoned professional in volunteer development and organizational management, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Volunteer Development and Chapter Programs at the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) since May 2011. In this role, Colleen is responsible for enhancing AMTA's volunteer structures and managing the Chapter Volunteer Orientation Program. Previous positions at AMTA included Senior Resource Manager and Program Manager, where Colleen facilitated key partnerships and managed research initiatives to advance the massage profession. Colleen also held significant roles at the Massage Therapy Foundation, including Development Manager, where fundraising and strategic communication were paramount. Early career experiences include managing alumni relations and donor relations at educational institutions, alongside marketing roles in the financial and publishing sectors. Colleen earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Business Administration from Illinois State University.
