Chris Watson

Chris Watson currently serves as a City Council Member for Ward 2 in the City of Ann Arbor since November 2022. In addition to this role, Chris has been a Senior Bibliographic Specialist at the American Mathematical Society since January 2015, where responsibilities include training staff on web application usage for cataloging STEM papers and managing updates for institutional information in author profiles. Previously, Chris held the position of Fellowship Recruitment Director at Progressive Pipeline, successfully directing outreach for a summer fellowship program that significantly increased the diversity and number of applicants. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University in 2014.
