Jennifer Hananoki

Jennifer Hananoki is an experienced professional in government affairs and health policy, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Federal Affairs at the American Medical Association since October 2018. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Senior Associate Director of Government Affairs at MGMA from June 2013 to October 2018, focusing on Medicare physician payment and quality issues, while representing MGMA in Washington. Jennifer has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor at the George Mason University School of Law, teaching Law Journal Management. Jennifer's legal experience includes internships at Inova Health System, the US Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Jennifer holds a Juris Doctor from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
