Joshua Smith has over 15 years of experience in software development and architecture. Joshua has worked in various roles such as Principal Software Developer, Solutions Architect, and Principal Software Engineer. Joshua has expertise in technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, PowerShell, TFS, Git, Azure, and AWS. Throughout their career, they have been involved in creating automated builds and deployments, architecting and developing solutions for different projects, and implementing design and coding standards. Joshua has also mentored new developers and led development teams.
Joshua Smith earned a BBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Texas Tech University, which they attended from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained an AS in Business Administration from South Plains College, where they studied from 1998 to 1999. In addition to their degrees, Joshua has also obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MCSD in ALM and Windows Store Apps (C#) in 2013, MCPD in Windows Azure in 2012, and several others including MCSD.NET and MCTS. Furthermore, they have also obtained the certification of Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2014.
