VP Of Safety-global Medical Response at Global Medical Response

Tom Baldwin has worked at Global Medical Response since October 2019 as the VP of Safety. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Air Evac Lifeteam, where they held various roles including Director of Safety, SMS Manager, Interim Director of Safety, Safety & Standards Analyst, Operations Specialist, Area Manager, Regional Manager, Program Development Coordinator, and Base Manager/Flight Paramedic. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing safety departments, facilitating safety committee meetings, investigating accidents, and implementing processes and programs to create a safe work environment.

Tom Baldwin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University, College of Professional Studies, in the years 2010 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2013 to 2015 at the same institution. Additionally, they completed a Professional Certificate in Aviation Safety and Security at the University of Southern California in 2016 to 2017. To enhance their healthcare expertise, Tom obtained the National Registered Paramedic (NRP) certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in March 2019. In 1989 to 1991, Tom also attended Creighton University and completed a Paramedic program in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic).
