Vijayarankan M Venugopal

Vijayarankan M Venugopal has had extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Vijayarankan M started their career in 2000 as a Junior Software Engineer, working on various R&D projects and gaining knowledge in emerging protocols and networking technologies. Vijayarankan M then progressed to roles as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, leading small teams and designing and developing storage virtualization and iSCSI target modules. In 2006, they became a Team Leader, where they led a team in the development of thin provisioning storage stack for StoreTrends 24xx products and mentored newly hired engineers. In 2007, they joined AMI: American Megatrends, Inc. as a Software Development Manager and continued to lead teams in the design and development of storage products. In 2011, they became an Engineering Manager, leading a team in the development of clustered storage virtualization stack and performance improvements. Finally, in 2012, they took on the role of Director of Engineering at AMI, where they led the development for all-flash array-based StorTrends36xx product series, as well as the previous generation StorTrends 35xx product. Throughout their career, Vijayarankan has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills in software development and engineering.

From 1995 to 1999, Vijayarankan M Venugopal pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Computer Science from Bharathiar University.
