Annabel Panayotov is currently a Student Research Assistant at George Washington University, focusing on Middle East Political Science since September 2022. Annabel has been an Opinions Writer for The GW Hatchet since February 2021 and a Contributing Writer for GW Justice Journal since September 2020. Additionally, Annabel serves as a Collegiate Mock Trial Attorney for the American Mock Trial Association and has gained valuable experience as a Student Intern at both the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project and Evan Guthrie Law Firm. Prior to these roles, Annabel worked as a Teaching Assistant at Eye Level Learning, where responsibilities included grading, client interaction, and secretarial duties, and as a French Teacher at Alliance Française de Chicago, coordinating cultural engagement activities. Annabel is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs at The George Washington University, with previous education at Stevenson High School and Northwestern University.
