Ava Benavente

Ava Benavente is currently the Mock Trial Team Vice President at Columbia University, having previously served as the Mock Trial Team President during the 2022-2023 season. With extensive experience in acting, Ava has worked as a voice actor for major studios including Warner Brothers and Sony Pictures since 2019, showcasing a commitment to professional preparation and scheduling. Additionally, Ava has provided private tutoring services for various families since 2017 and has taken on multiple roles within the American Mock Trial Association across different educational institutions. Other experiences include working as a Summer Camp Counselor at Tocaloma Summer Day Camp and serving on the executive board of One for the World, promoting charitable contributions among students. Ava holds a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies from Barnard College and has a diverse educational background that includes political science, theater, journalism, and medical science.
