Dr. Amira Mogaji serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Battle Creek Public Schools since July 2022. Dr. Mogaji holds extensive leadership experience in Montessori education, including roles as President of the Board of Directors and Vice President at the American Montessori Society, Board Member at Montessori for Social Justice, and Chief Academic Officer at City Garden Montessori School. Previous positions also include School Principal at Northglade Montessori Magnet School and Village Charter School, and CEO at Philadelphia Montessori Charter School. Dr. Mogaji possesses a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University and further educational qualifications from Immaculata University, Saint Joseph's University, Chestnut Hill College, and Westminster University.
