Siarhei Besarab

Siarhei Besarab is a Technology Expert specializing in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear safety, as well as special purpose personal protective equipment (PPE), currently employed at Lab-66 since February 2021. In addition, Siarhei serves as a Consultant for the Belarus Scientist Solidarity Foundation, coordinating assistance for Belarusian scientists facing political repression. Siarhei's extensive experience at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus spans from Junior Research Scientist to Senior Research Scientist, focusing on the design and development of nanomaterials and porous materials for various applications. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Surface Science, Master's degree in Chemistry, and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Medical Electronics and Chemistry. Siarhei has also contributed as an Associate Member of the American Nano Society and served as an IEC Expert for the International Electrotechnical Commission.
