Dustin Ortmann has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on commercial real estate lending. Dustin started their career at Guaranty Bank in 2003 as AVP - Builder Finance, where they worked until 2007. Dustin then joined Countrywide Bank as VP - National Accounts from 2007 to 2008. Following that, they worked at Bank of Texas as VP - The Private Bank from 2008 to 2010. Dustin then joined BBVA Compass as VP - CRE Loss Share Assets from 2010 to 2013. Currently, Dustin is employed at American National Bank of Texas as Senior Vice President - Commercial Real Estate, a position they have held since 2013. In this role, they are responsible for originating loans against various real estate asset types and has been recognized as the #1 commercial lender based on production in both 2021 and 2022.

Dustin Ortmann completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Texas A&M University from 1999 to 2003. Dustin then obtained a Certificate in International Business from Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg III) in 2002. In 2012, Dustin earned a Certificate in Leading Through Creativity from Cornell University. Currently, they are pursuing further education at SW Graduate School of Banking, which is expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023.
