Michelle Sheffield

Michelle Sheffield has extensive experience in information technology and leadership within the financial and insurance sectors. Currently serving on the Board of Directors at American National Bank of Texas since November 2018, Michelle previously held the position of Chief Information Officer at BenefitMall from February 2009 until its acquisition by Truist Insurance Holding in September 2022. Prior roles include Vice President of Information Technology at Globe Life and American Messaging, and Director of Information Technology at Verizon, where a significant tenure spanned nearly a decade. Michelle holds an Executive MBA from the SMU Cox School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Computer Systems from Oklahoma State University.
