Curtis Ono

Curtis Ono is a highly experienced optometrist and leader in the field of optometry. Currently serving as a Trustee for the American Optometric Association since June 2020, Curtis also holds the position of Immediate Past and Washington State Director for the Great Western Council of Optometry (GWCO) since October 2011, where Curtis represents the Optometric Physicians of Washington. As a Partner/Owner at Puget Sound Eye Care since October 1997, Curtis provides comprehensive eye examinations and specializes in pediatric eye disorders. Previous roles include Chair of the Affiliate Relations and Membership Executive Committee and Chair of the Membership Development Committee at the American Optometric Association from July 2013 to January 2020, and Chair of the Membership Committee for the Optometric Physicians of Washington from 2014 to October 2016. Curtis Ono earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry between 1983 and 1987.
