Chris Lang has held various roles in the field of operations, quality, and engineering throughout their career. Chris started their career in 1996 as a Quality and Production Supervisor at Dana Corporation. Chris then worked as a Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Senior Quality Engineer at Dana Corporation's Columbia, Mo. facility. In these roles, they were responsible for quality control, new product launches, and adherence to customer requirements. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Dana Holding Corporation, focusing on North American quality and customer satisfaction. Chris joined Dana Incorporated in 2012 and held positions as Quality and Engineering Manager, Operations and Engineering Manager, and Operations/Engineering/Program Manager. In these roles, they managed quality and engineering departments, as well as led the company's lean journey. Since 2019, Chris has been working at American Outdoor Brands Corporation as Director Of Quality and later became the Director Of Operations.
Chris Lang attended Moberly High School from 1984 to 1988. After high school, they pursued an Associates degree in Business from MACC, graduating in 1990. Chris then attended the University of Michigan from 1991 to 1992, though they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during that time.
