Katie Koenitzer Ms, Csp

Katie Koenitzer, MS, CSP has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental, health, and safety. Katie is currently the Corporate Director of Environmental, Health & Safety at American Packaging Corporation, where they manage all aspects of EHS at multiple facilities and focuses on strengthening the safety culture. Katie also serves as the Divisional Environmental Management System representative. Prior to this role, Katie worked as a Corporate Safety Engineer and Corporate Safety & Training Specialist at Sub-Zero Group, Inc. During their time there, they maintained compliance with safety and health regulations, managed worker's compensation program, conducted safety training, and performed hazard assessments. Additionally, Katie gained early experience as a Safety Intern at the U.S. Department of Labor - OSHA. Katie started their career at American Packaging Corporation as a Manufacturing Clerk/Safety Assistant, where they assisted in manufacturing operations, conducted safety training, and performed audits.

Katie Koenitzer, MS, CSP has a diverse education history in the field of environmental health and safety. Katie obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety from the same university, completing it in 2019. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Katie attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Communication Sciences and Disorders. Katie completed their high school education at Mayville High School from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Katie has obtained several certifications. Katie is an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certified by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Katie has also achieved certification as a Forklift Train-the-Trainer and holds certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid. Furthermore, Katie is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has completed both the OSHA - 30 Hour Construction course and the OSHA 10 Hour course.
