Maram Quhshi

Vice President Of Operation Heart at American Pharmacists Association

Maram Quhshi has a diverse work experience. Maram started in 2022 as a Biology Tutor at Rockford University, where they provided assistance to students studying biology. In the same year, they joined the American Pharmacists Association, initially serving as Vice Chair of Operation Heart from September 2022 to May 2023, before becoming Vice President of Operation Heart in May 2023. Currently, they are also involved with the ICHP (Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists) as President Elect, beginning in 2023.

Maram Quhshi began their education journey in 2018 at Rock Valley College, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree. Maram continued their studies at Rockford University from 2020 to 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry. In 2022, they enrolled at the UIC College of Pharmacy, focusing on their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2026.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Maram Quhshi obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and qualifications. In 2022, they became a certified Pharmacy Technician through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. In 2023, they obtained two additional certifications: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association and Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification from the American Pharmacists Association.
