Claudia Fracchiolla

Claudia Fracchiolla serves as the Head of Public Engagement at the American Physical Society (APS Physics) since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Fellow at University College Dublin, focusing on the design of a Computational Science Module, and various academic positions at University of Galway and University of Colorado Boulder, where responsibilities ranged from leading outreach programs to conducting research on informal physics education's impact on students' identities. Fracchiolla is also known for contributions to the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) and has a strong background in curriculum development and assessment in educational environments, complemented by an extensive educational foundation in physics and curriculum instruction.
