Public Engagement Program Manager at American Physical Society

Nicole Schrode, M. Ed. possesses extensive experience in education and public engagement, currently serving as the Public Engagement Program Manager at the American Physical Society (APS Physics) since June 2022. Nicole also holds the position of Professional Learning Facilitator and Coach at PEER Physics, affiliated with the University of Colorado, since August 2014. Prior to these roles, Nicole was a teacher at St. Vrain Valley Schools from August 2013 to June 2022 and worked as an adjunct instructor at the University of Colorado Boulder between August 2017 and December 2018. Academically, Nicole earned a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from The City College of New York from 2005 to 2008 and a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1997 to 2001.
