Sarma Kancharla

Sarma Kancharla is currently serving as the Chief Editor for Physical Review B at the American Physical Society since April 2024, following a distinguished tenure as Senior Editor and Associate Editor within the same journal from August 2007 to 2024. Prior to this, Sarma Kancharla worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2005 to 2007 and at Universite de Sherbrooke from 2002 to 2005. Sarma Kancharla obtained a PhD in Physics from Rutgers University, where studies were completed from 1996 to 2002, and an MSc in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, earned between 1994 and 1996.
