Hannah Walter-Pilon

Hannah Walter-Pilon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in volunteer engagement and community management. Currently serving as the Volunteer Engagement Senior Manager for the American Physiological Society since June 2025, Hannah previously held significant roles at Optica, including Director of Technical Community Engagement and Technical Community Manager, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing volunteer-led special interest groups and fostering community among a large membership base. Earlier positions include Government Relations Coordinator for Defenders of Wildlife and Legislative Correspondent for Senator Richard J.
